- Neurodiversity Inclusion Collaboration
- Made up of students, staff, and faculty who advocate in identifying the needs for change on-campus and strive to bring awareness, acceptance, and community building for an inclusive and accessible campus for neurodivergent people.
The Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC) currently has two therapists that specialize in neurodivergence:
- Calleaghn Kinnamon
- Calleagn Kinnamon focuses on ADHD assessment/diagnostics but only for those without insurance or super high co-pays that are prohibitive (very limited in capacity)
- Sarah Kapostasy
- Sarah Kapostasy focuses on LGBTQIA+ health and wellness, neurodiversity, self-compassion, body liberation, social justice
- Michele Tulk
- Michele Tulk is a Nurse Practitioner prescribes mental health medication to students in need. She is a most passionate about trauma recovery and voluntary substance use disorder treatment.
- Tiffane Staley
- Tiffane Staley is a Nurse Practitioner at Western who can prescribe mental health medication to students in need.
- Disability Outreach Center (DOC)
- A resource for disabled students and allies. The DOC connects students with community resources, raises awareness, and advocates for disabled students’ human and civil rights
- Disability Access Center (DAC)
- Helps in providing equal access and full inclusion to every aspect of the student experience for every student.
